Graduation
The ceremony, and the two hours of photographs after it.
- Most people spend
- ฿400 – ฿900
- When to order
- The day before. Graduation weeks sell out.
- Usually the bouquet
- ฿600 – ฿950 — 12 – 18 stems, three kinds plus foliage, ~35 cm across. The normal answer to most days.
Never send
Anything they cannot hold in one hand for two hours in the sun.
- Over 45 cm and it ends up on a chair, out of every photograph that gets taken that day.
- This is the single most common mistake we see, and it is always made generously.
What we would tell you in the shop
We wrap graduation bouquets with a handle and no water tube. It will be out of water for three hours and that is fine — we choose stems that do not mind.
March and June to July are the graduation weeks here, and we do sell out. If the date is fixed, so is ours.
The card
Optional. Most are handed over in person.
Free, always, with any order. Thai, English or Chinese. Say which when you order. If you do not know what to write, say so. We will send three lines for the occasion and you pick one or change it. Most people do this and it is not unusual.
Prices
The bands in full
| Band | Price | What you get | Reads as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Posy | ฿350 – ฿550 | 5 – 9 stems, one or two kinds ~25 cm across | A kind thought. Fits one hand. |
| Bouquet | ฿600 – ฿950 | 12 – 18 stems, three kinds plus foliage ~35 cm across | The normal answer to most days. |
| Large bouquet | ฿1,000 – ฿1,600 | 25 – 35 stems ~45 cm across | Needs two hands, and a flat surface at the other end. |
| Arrangement or stand | ฿1,800 – ฿3,200 | In a vase, a basket, or on a stand 60 – 90 cm tall | A room, not a person. |
| By consultation | Above ฿3,200 | Whatever it turns out to need — | We ask what it is for before we quote. |
A bigger band is not a better bouquet. Above a large bouquet, most of what you are paying for is size — and size is a problem for anyone who has to carry it, find a vase for it, or fit it on a hospital bedside table. If a smaller one is right, we will say so.
