What lands badly here
These are the mistakes we watch people make. Stated as facts rather than as advice, because that is what they are — and because the customers who most need them are the ones who will never ask.

A bigger band is not a better bouquet. Above a large bouquet, most of what you are paying for is size — and size is a problem for anyone who has to carry it, find a vase for it, or fit it on a hospital bedside table. If a smaller one is right, we will say so.
